Hey OP how do u configure a controller to this version of mame? i got an xbox one controller with a usb cord plugged into my cpu that works for every other emulator?
Hi, thanks for the hard work.
Your links going into emuparadise do not work.
That website has an error: "This game is unavailable (?)"
This hapens on all of the mame rom game files.
Is there a way around this please?
Does technique also work with a RPi 4? Having a hard time running MAME
So you have to create a rom folder in the mame folder and add all the roms to it is that correct?
So, I'm very new to this whole Raspberry Pi & RetroPie thing. I am not very knowledgeable about it at all. Recently, I purchased the LABISTS Raspberry Pi 4 4GB Complete Starter PRO Kit with 32GB Micro SD Card (4GB RAM). I was finally able to get it set up and I was able to play a few games on it last night (5/26/21). The main reason why I decided to go with a Raspberry Pi was because I'm a child of the 80s and 90s. I wanted to have a system that let me play retro video games such as arcade games and console games (Genesis & SNES) from that time period. The problem I've run into now is that some of the roms work fine and others don't. I can't figure out why this is happening. I have heard that arcade roms use MAME, etc . . . Some of the arcade and 16-bit console roms are working, but other ones are not. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this latest issue that I'm facing? Thanks.
Aw man are you kidding me why you not put in rhythm tengoku i need that game on arcade he can multiplayer but on gba its just singleplayer dud i need that bios and rom
Total Roms inside ?
10/4
Thank you!!!
hi derek. as of june 28, 2021, i followed everything on this video and was able to run mame successfully. there was just a few bumps regarding the CHD @20:42 but the good thing is that I found out that you do not need to put the rom zip file inside the game chd folder. you just have the game rom zip file inside the rom folder and the name of the chd folder for that game must be the same.
I was also able to follow successfully the workaround in emuparadise. now, i am creating some bezel arts of the games that i added in the custom folder.
thanks a lot!
Just getting into MAME and retro gaming. Great tutorial, but all of links in the google drive are not working. Do you have a go around or update to find these ROM's and BIOS so I can get working on getting this working?
I’m here to figure out how to add a bezel to the sides of the screen. Hopefully I Can figure it out. I feel dumb.
Another question?? The sound is extremely distorted on my PC. Is this normal or is their an issue that I can get this fixed? I used all the read me info links for my ROMS as well.
I'm still learning about MAME. First used it on tiger arcade for Android way back in the day. YouTube she just be concerned with people using and watching the platform forget that other stuff. More important things in life like getting games.
Those CHD types are the ones that get me.
I trying to play Daytona USA on this emulator. I downloaded the rom of the game, and I put the file into the rom file, but the game is still not appearing in the list of games.
i cant seem to find any game games games is unavailable. can you please help me Derek

guide isn't helpful anymore since emuparadise died, no explanation of how to add your own roms to these massive, confusing lists..
Possible email to communicate in need of inquiries
the link doesn't show
I know this is a few years old but I tried to download the Mame Pre-config and Google Drive states I do not have permission to download. Could you please send me a valid link or give me temporary permission please. Thanks in advance.
